DJ Chicken apprehended over hit-and-run accident in Lagos

Nigerian street entertainer, DJ Chicken, has been reportedly arrested by the police for allegedly being involved in a hit and run accident in Lakowe, Lagos.

The popular entertainer was captured in a video surrounded by a crowd of people, after he reportedly hit another car while he was driving.

The incident resulted in a serious damage to both his car and the victim’s vehicle.

Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that DJ Chicken was attempting to flee the scene of the accident but was apprehended by passersby who prevented him from escaping.

The victim, whose car was badly damaged, reportedly sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The police were subsequently called to the scene and arrested DJ Chicken, taking him to a nearby police station for further investigation.

It is unclear if he has been charged with any offense as at the time of filing this report.
