Diezani Alison-Madueke rented yacht to American celebrities — Sowore

Former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has claimed that embattled former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, rented out her yacht to American billionaire celebrity couple, Jay-Z and Beyoncé. Sowore made the assertion in a teaser for Chude Jideonwo’s upcoming documentary, “Is It Your Money?: The Story of Diezani Alison-Madueke.”

Sowore stated, “All the revelations that came out of the Diezani story by now should have become a movie. Buying a yacht with the money of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and riding it around and renting it out to Jay-Z and his wife, Beyoncé. I think that is more brazen.”

Diezani Alison-Madueke, who served as Nigeria’s petroleum minister from 2010 to 2015 under former President Goodluck Jonathan, is currently facing multiple corruption charges both domestically and internationally. The allegations against her include extensive financial misappropriation during her tenure in office.
