Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sex trafficking trial to begin May 2025

American music mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs is making a desperate third attempt to secure his release from jail.

In a new report, the convict’s legal team ramps up its defense against the stunning racketeering and sex trafficking allegations.

Combs, who has vehemently denied all accusations and pleaded not guilty, is currently locked up in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, facing a mountain of charges that could shake the foundations of the entertainment industry.

Diddy’s defense is firing back, claiming the case has been “sensationalized,” with every move he makes scrutinized through a distorted lens.

Their latest appeal highlights that all sexual encounters were “consensual” and argue that Combs poses no threat to the community, contrary to prosecutors’ claims.

The appeal also pushes back on accusations that Diddy attempted to tamper with witnesses, asserting that his communication with them was approved by legal counsel—and in some cases, initiated by the witnesses themselves.

At the heart of the drama is an unnamed victim, widely believed to be singer Cassie, whose settlement with Diddy was followed by a leaked video, adding further fuel to the fire.

With an attorney representing 120 accusers, the legal storm surrounding Combs is far from over, as more lawsuits are expected to surface in New York and Los Angeles in the coming weeks.

Diddy’s legal team argue he’s gone above and beyond to prove his compliance—surrendering his passport, selling off his private jet, and offering up his $48 million mansion to secure his release.

The prosecutors, however, remain firm in their stance that Combs is a flight risk, despite his attempts to prove otherwise.

With his freedom hanging in the balance, and the music industry watching closely, the question remains: Will Diddy’s appeal be enough to convince the court to grant his release, or will he remain behind bars as new allegations continue to pile up?
