Dembele prepares to take pay-cut to stay at Barca

Ousmane Dembele has reportedly made moves to slash his wages in preparation to agree a new deal that will keep him at Barcelona.

According to Goal, the French winger may consider staying in the Camp Nou despite earlier disagreement that suggested the termination of his contract with the club next summer.

Spain transfer source, Marca revealed that Dembele’s agent, Moussa Sissoko has met with Barcelona representatives on Wednesday, April 27 to discuss likely extension of his contract.

Ousmane Dembele has recorded 12 assists in 34 matches in the season 2021/2022 ranking second in the La Liga chart (11) equaling in-form striker Karim Benzema (11).

He also has a total of 37 chances created ranking as the sixth most created chances in the La Liga in the ongoing campaign.
