Deceased Harry Potter actor left Lover and children with nothing

It has come to light that the late renowned Irish actor Sir Michael Gambon, famed for his portrayal of Professor Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter film series, allocated his entire £1.5 million estate to his wife, Lady Anne Gambon, excluding his long-term partner, Phillipa Hart, who is the mother of his two teenage sons.

The will, drafted and signed in 2016, was made public on March 5, following Sir Michael’s passing in September the previous year at the age of 82.

According to reports from Mail Online, Lady Anne has been designated as an executor of the will alongside her son, Fergus, aged 60.

The document outlines that should Lady Anne have predeceased her husband, the substantial fortune would then have passed to Fergus.

Notably, Phillipa Hart, who shared a two-decade-long relationship with Sir Michael and openly resided with him in a West London townhouse, did not receive any portion of the inheritance.

Their two sons, Tom, aged 17, and William, aged 15, were left a modest sum of £10,000 each along with a cherished trophy. This trophy, a Silver Heart Variety Club of Great Britain stage actor award, symbolizes their father’s legacy in the acting realm, with Tom receiving the award from 1987 and William receiving the one from 2000.

When approached for comment, Ms. Hart declined to discuss the matter, stating,

“It’s none of my business. I really don’t want to talk about this.”

Similarly, Fergus refrained from providing any statement, indicating that his mother would not be interested in engaging with the media.

The Harry Potter actor and Ms. Hart first crossed paths while working on the Channel 4 series “Longitude” in 2000. Over the subsequent two decades, Sir Michael divided his time between Ms. Hart and Lady Anne.
