Davido’s billionaire father Mr. Adedeji Adeleke has donated N500m to the Federal Government to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

The popular Nigerian musician whose original name is David Adeleke made the announcement of the donation on the Twitter handle.

This comes after Davido’s fiancee and babymama, Chioma was infected with the Coronavirus.

Davido disclosed that the Adelekes’ will also be donating 6, 640 bags of rice to the Ogun State Government for distribution and will later this week begin the distribution of the N250m worth of rice in 332 wards in Osun State.

According to the family, the distribution of the food item is to help cushion the effect of the lockdown on the people of Osun State as the country battles coronavirus.

Mr. Adeleke, therefore, called on Nigerians to heed to instructions from the Federal Government as well as relevant bodies in the fight against the pandemic, promising to continue to back Osun State.

I love to read, write and TRAVEL!!! The media space is my canvas to paint the truths of our brands and the stories of our Nigerian culture. I love a good book any day because with them I can travel to spaces that are perfect in their frame.
