Davido reacts as Peruzzi vows lawsuit actions against influencer who framed him

Davido, a Grammy-nominated singer, has authorized the prosecution of a critic who spread false accusations about his wife, Chioma, and former protege, Peruzzi.

On Thursday, TopNaija reported that an X user named Baddy of Lasu created a comment that was falsely attributed to Peruzzi and Chef Chioma.

A fabricated statement was released, showing Peruzzi criticizing Davido for being ungrateful and accusing him of being involved with Davido’s wife.

Afterward, the influencer took back their statement and offered apologies to both Davido and Peruzzi. He admitted to the manipulated nature of the tweet, taking full responsibility for his actions, and promised to steer clear of similar incidents in the future.

After receiving an apology, Peruzzi refused to accept it and encouraged his followers to retweet his message to raise funds for legal fees, hinting at potential legal proceedings.

Davido agreed with the suggestion to have the influencer imprisoned and the key thrown away.
