Popular Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has given a subtly response after being called out by Dammy Krane over an alleged debt.

Singer and songwriter Dammy Krane had earlier called out the Jowo crooner, Davido, for refusal to pay him for co-writing his 2017 hit song, Pere, which featured American rappers, Rae Sremmurd and Young Thug.

Dammy was left with no choice as he took to his Twitter handle and tagged OBO, because he didn’t get any response despite private appeals.

He also shared a screenshot of Davido’s tweet from 2017, revealing that Dammy was among the songwriters.

In 2017, Davido had tweeted;

Shoutout @dammy_krane !! Co wrote the hook on PERE with me!!”

He asked the ‘FIA’ hitmaker to send him the money that’s due him for co-writing Pere.

Dammy wrote; ”All my rich guys wey Dey owe me money , today na Monday o , abi make we bring am come ‘The Supreme High Twitter Court’ 🤔🤣🤍 #ESHE

My Blooda @davido Run the check 💰 I don reach out to people over the years based on split sheet & outstanding, No response , we no gats Dey get this convo here 🤞🏾”

Hours after the post, Davido took to his Twitter account to give a subtly reaction to the allegation

Davido made a post that suggested he was not perturbed.

He shared a photo of himself biting into a sack of money in what seems like he is making a mockery of the claim. The singer uploaded the photo with just a smiley emoji as the caption.
