Once a red, always a red Manchester United fans would say, but is David Beckham still a ‘Red’?
The former English icon on Tuesday night sat as a guest with the CBS Sports crew for the UEFA Champions League games in which the Red Devils were missing out of due to their 8th place finish last season.
Opening up about the “painful” reality of seeing his old side miss out on the glory of the competition, Beckham shared with the likes of Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher his mixed feelings as Europe’s elite returned to action.
While Beckham fondly recalled his own Champions League triumphs, the conversation took a nostalgic turn when presenter Kate Abdo asked if it hurt not seeing United in the tournament.
