Dani Alves to leave Barcelona
Dani Alves has reportedly left Barcelona after the club decided not to offer him a contract extension.
The full-back wished for a new deal in a bid to improve his chances of making Brazil’s World Cup squad.
The 39-year-old’s current contract ends in July, as he hoped that continuing at Camp Nou would keep him in contention for the Brazil squad.
Barcelona are confident of signing Cesar Azpilicueta from Chelsea this summer, meaning Dani Alves would be a surplus.
