Dangote crashes down price of Diesel

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has once again made headlines by announcing a significant reduction in the prices of diesel and aviation fuel to N940 and N980 per litre, respectively.

This move follows the refinery’s recent price drop to N1,000, which garnered widespread acclaim just two weeks ago.

Under the new pricing structure, customers purchasing five million litres and above will enjoy the discounted rate of N940 per litre for diesel, while those buying one million litres and above will benefit from the N970 per litre rate.

Anthony Chiejina, the Head of Communication at Dangote Group, highlighted the company’s commitment to alleviating economic hardships in Nigeria through these price adjustments.

He revealed a strategic partnership with MRS Oil and Gas stations to ensure affordable fuel prices across their outlets nationwide.

Chiejina emphasized, “The Dangote Group is committed to ensuring that Nigerians have better welfare,” and expressed optimism that the reduced prices would mitigate the economic challenges faced by consumers.

This latest price reduction marks the third significant decrease in diesel prices within a span of three weeks, underscoring Dangote Petroleum Refinery’s dedication to providing accessible and affordable fuel options to Nigerians.
