Cristiano Ronaldo to reunite with Manchester United teammate

Reports suggest that Al Nassr forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, could be set to reunite with his former Manchester United teammate, Alex Telles, in the Middle East. Telles is currently out on loan at Sevilla, where he has lost his starting spot to Marcos Acuna.

It is believed that Al Nassr has shown an interest in signing the Brazilian left-back and is willing to cover his current salary, which means he won’t have to take a pay cut on what he currently earns in England.

According to AS, it is not yet clear whether the Saudi Arabian side would be willing to pay a transfer fee for Telles, although it is unlikely to be a sizeable amount. However, before accepting a move, Telles must consider how it might impact his international ambitions.

Telles made his debut for the Brazilian national team in 2019 and has since earned five caps for the Selecao. He will undoubtedly be keen to continue his development as a player and maintain his place in the national team setup.

The potential reunion with Ronaldo is likely to be a factor in Telles’ decision, as the two players enjoyed a successful spell together at Manchester United. If the move goes ahead, Telles will be hoping to rekindle their partnership and help Al Nassr push for success in the Saudi Professional League.
