Cristiano Ronaldo is concerned about Manchester United’s inactivity in Transfer window

Cristiano Ronaldo is a player that likes being focused on whatever goal that stands in front of him, and for his club, Manchester United to show inactivity in the transfer window, he finds it something of a concern.

The inactivity has left the 5 times Ballon d’or winner worried over the outcome of next season as the club has been unable to close down important deals in the summer transfer window.

The club’s transfer strategy has now left the Portugal international bemused as he had expected two or three players to have arrived at Old Trafford by now considering how last season ended.

It was a very poor finish for the club as it finished in the Europa places and had to seek the aid of former Ajax manager, ten Hag to improve on the following campaign.

All the club has done is identify several transfer targets with no actions being taken.

The Red Devils have kept the likes of Frenkie de Jong, Christian Eriksen, Julian Timber, Lisandro Martinez under their radar, with Anthony of Ajax being their only positive outcome.

Manchester United were in line to sign Darwin Nunez from Benfica before he was snapped by arch rivals, Liverpool.

City rivals, Manchester City have also completed their £51 million deal for Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal and Tottenham have also strengthened with new additions.

Over the weekend, United’s chief executive, Richard Arnold insisted that the club’s finances are in place to bring De Jong to Old Trafford during a conversation with supporters.

But AS’ Manu Sainz, who is close to Jorge Mendes, revealed that Ronaldo is ‘worried’ about Manchester United’s current situation and is concerned that their Premier League rivals are already pulling away with their new signings.

“Ronaldo wants reinforcements at Manchester United, but so far it does not seem that the club is going to enforce the squad changes that he considers necessary.” They said.
