Conan the Barbarian, T-1000 rumored to Join Mortal Kombat 1

Exciting news for Mortal Kombat fans: Conan the Barbarian and the T-1000 from the Terminator series might be coming to Mortal Kombat 1.

This information comes from data miner Interloko, who has found hints of new content for the game.

Interloko’s findings suggest that six new characters will be added to Mortal Kombat 1, likely in the next downloadable content (DLC) pack. These characters are:

  • Cyrax
  • Sektor
  • Noob Saibot
  • Ghostface (Scream)
  • Conan the Barbarian
  • T-1000 (Terminator)

In addition to the new characters, two new arenas and five new announcers are expected.

Ghostface’s inclusion isn’t a complete surprise. Last year, data miners found evidence of unannounced DLC content that included Scream’s masked slasher. Mortal Kombat’s cyborg Cyrax was also part of those discoveries.

In September, Mortal Kombat’s creator, Ed Boon, shared an image featuring famous slasher movie characters, including Ghostface. This led many to believe that these characters would soon join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster as part of the game’s DLC.

If the leak is accurate, fans are curious to see if Arnold Schwarzenegger will voice Conan the Barbarian. Updates will follow as more information becomes available.

Recently, several notable characters have joined the game. The Boys’ Homelander was added earlier this month, and Ermac arrived in April. Other additions include Omni-Man, Peacemaker, and Quan Chi.

For those interested in the movie side of Mortal Kombat, the sequel to the Mortal Kombat movie is set to release next year, adding to the excitement.

Stay tuned for more updates on Mortal Kombat 1 and its expanding lineup of characters.
