Comedian, Oga Sabinus warns public over online scam and fake accounts in his name

Popular comedian and skit maker, Chukwuemeka Emmanuel also known as Oga Sabinus, the investor has raised alarm over the use of his name to scam the public on social media.

The skit maker warned that after losing his account to hackers, many have taken to social media to impersonate him.

In a video shared on his page, Oga Sabinus said he had earlier lost his page and many fraudsters are using the opportunity to open fake accounts to scam his fans.

While trying all to recover his Twitter account, Oga Sabinus said he noticed a flurry of people had created multiple accounts in his name and also engaging in a giveaway spree to deceive his fans.

The skit maker encouraged his followers to be cautious to avoid being scammed or being a victim of fake giveaways.

He said: ‘It has been brought to my notice about several accounts claiming to be me, some of them have been engaging in giveaways. I’m not the owner of those fake pages”.

“They had hacked my first account and while I’m making effort to get back the old account, some people have rushed to open new accounts on Twitter. I’m aware some of you may not know and had rushed to follow the pages, they are also doing giveaways”.

This is coming after the comedian, Investor Oga Sabinus revealed that he earns around N10 Million monthly however, he doesn’t show off on the social media space, or out in the open.

According to him, content creation pays so much money and he charges N1.5 million for an advert on his page.

He stated this during an interview with TV host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, revealing how much he charged brands for influencing their product or services.
