Nigerian afrobeat legend Femi Kuti and his band have popped up a surprise collaboration with international powerhouse, Coldplay

The award-winning four-man British rock team, Coldplay are set to collaborate with Femi Kuti on their new album, Everyday Life. Kuti and his band played on ‘Arabesque’, a track from the new album.

This massive collaboration is coming while we are still basking in the success of the Felabration Concert. From a stranger to international acclaim, bagging Grammy nominations, and performing all over the world.

the veteran artiste and his band add a dimension previously unseen on Coldplay records, with a vibrant horn section that is unmistakably unique to the Afrobeat legend.

A legendary excerpt from the late, great Fela Kuti also features on the record, leading into a heart-stopping crescendo that closes out the song.

It is a Green-White-Green to the world kinda year.
