Clerk laments stealing by lawmaker’s aide in National Assembly

Olatunde Ojo, a Clerk to the National Assembly, has condemned the burglary recently carried out by an aide to a member of the House of Representatives.

The CNA gave the condemnation in Abuja on Friday during the inauguration ceremony of newly elected executives of the National Assembly Legislative Aides Forum.

He, therefore, tasked the new executives to fish out the bad eggs among them.

He said, “It is sad to note the ugly incident that occurred recently when a legislative aide was caught breaking into the office of a lawmaker.

“What would have prompted such a regrettable incident? There is the need for these newly elected executives to be vigilant by flushing out any bad eggs amongst them.”

He also urged the executive to run welfare-driven unionism and refrain from confrontations against the management.
