City Are Carabao King After Humiliating Arsenal 3-0

Aguero opened scoring for City in the 18th minute of the match. It was an embarrassing defending from Arsenal and Manchester City take the lead.

After that Mesut Ozil free-kick, goalkeeper Bravo plonks the ball down and pumps it up field. Aguero nudges Shkodran Mustafi off the ball in a challenge, raced through into the box and clips a gorgeous finish over the onrushing David Ospina for the opener.

Vincent Kompany made it 2-0 for City on 58 minutes. He won the corner and pokes home Manchester City’s second goal himself. Kevin de Bruyne played a low pass to Ilkay Gundogan on the edge of the box, the German shoots first time but the ball was diverted into the net by a clever Kompany finish.

It was the Belgian’s first goal since May, as he wheeled away in celebrating in front of his own fans.

City ended Arsenal’s hope on 65th minute when David Silva made it 3-0. Defender Danilo dances across the Arsenal backline and played it through to David Silva.

The Spaniard has lots to do, but turns Calum Chambers with a majestic move, looks up and drills a low finish past David Ospina.
