Christopher Nkunku is Back, but… Mixed news ahead of City clash
At long last, some light at the end of the tunnel for Chelsea‘s Christopher Nkunku.
The ship though slow to its destination, appears to be steadying over at Chelsea following Monday night’s victory versus Tottenham Hotspur. And like a fairy tale story, it appears the Blues are ready for some positive news moving forward.
It has come into public knowledge that Chelsea’s summer signing, Christopher Nkunku who hasn’t been seen playing for the club since his move to Stamford Bridge this summer due to a lengthy injury layoff is set to make his proverbial return.
This comes courtesy of Sports journalist and transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian revealed via his social media platform that Christopher Nkunku has made his comeback from his long absence from the team.
However, Romano confirms that the West London side will not be hastening his comeback to the team for the meeting versus Manchester City on Sunday.
According to the journalist, Chelsea football club are planning to integrate the Frenchman after the upcoming international break.
Romano stated;
“Understand Chelsea decision is to take no risks with Christopher Nkunku’s comeback. It’s not expected to happen this weekend vs Manchester City. #CFC still planning with Nkunku back after the next international break.”
