Christian man marries three women at once in church that permits polygamy

A supposed Christian has sparked reactions after he got married to three women on the same day in church.

The man, identified as Byamungu Kanjira Prosper, and his three brides, tied the knot at a church in Congo that happens to be in support of polygamy, The Primitive Church in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The church declares categorically that it strongly believes men should be allowed to marry as many wives as they wish.

In the viral video from the wedding ceremony, Prosper was captured with the three ladies in their wedding gowns at the church altar.

Speaking on his decision to marry more than one wife, the groom said it is not a must for a man to stick only to one wife.

Prosper who went on to say he can take more, noted that, with a headcount, women are much more than men in the world population.

According to him, the situation might reach a point where seven women will agree to marry one man someday.

He then recommended that single women should come to their church as they will get men who are ready to marry them.

On their part, the women stated how happy and proud they are to be Prosper’s wives.
