Chelsea Will Win The EPL This Season—Koulibaly vows

If it were by wishes, Liverpool and even Aston Villa will have won considerable number of Premier League titles already, but for some reasons, Chelsea defender, Kalidou Koulibaly has his team winning the English title before the season comes to an end.

Of course, it is a statement most Chelsea fans will want to shy away from owing to how the Arab owned Manchester City side have decimated the English league and made very much non-competitive for any other side in the league to come close to changing the narratives.

At one point, it was just Liverpool keeping up, but this season, the story is left for anyone to fathom considering an unexpected race between Arsenal and the inevitable Manchester City is brewing up for a challenge.

One man who doesn’t care about the narratives or the story nor the history itself is Senegal international, Kalidou Koulibaly who fancies his team, Chelsea creating their own story this season and snatching top spot from the duo currently sitting top of the league.

The Chelsea defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, predicted that Chelsea has everything it takes to challenge and win the Premier League title this season and finish above Manchester City and Arsenal.

The Senegal international joined the Blues last summer in the transfer window from Napoli after a lengthy stint at the club, but now the 31-year-old is convinced that he can help his new club “write history” at Stamford Bridge.

Koulibaly, speaking with Corriere della Sera, was asked about the Premier League title race.

“It will be Chelsea at the end of the season. I want to write history here,” he declared before going on about his time in England.

“I arrive with a coach who wanted me at all costs, and then he leaves. Both [Thomas] Tuchel and [Graham] Potter play with three-man defences. And I was used to a four with Napoli.

“It’s another string to my bow, you never stop learning. I knew I was going to have a hard time, and that’s proved true.”

Arsenal is currently top of the table with 31 points with the Gunners currently sitting two more points above current champion Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Chelsea is sixth with 21 points, 10 points behind their London rivals.
