Chelsea vs. Arsenal: Confirmed XI
The big London derby sets upon Chelsea and Arsenal at the Stamford Bridge as premier league hostilities continue for match week 9 fixtures.
The North London side will be looking to build on to their 1-0 triumph over Manchester City 2 weeks ago that sees Mikel Arteta’s side move to joint top spot with arch rivals, Tottenham Hotspur.
The West London side however may be far from the top party, but will be gearing to make a statement in the tie, hopefully as penance for starting the season on a mixed note.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea though the underdogs in this fixture, will have a lot to prove against Arsenal, likewise will former Chelsea players, Kai Havertz and Jorginho who now currently play for Arsenal.
A game that has every narrative going for it, Blue vs. Red, London vs. London and a chance to reclaim the glory of being the pride of the city falls on both sides.
