Chelsea to sell player who just arrived at Stamford Bridge
After the defeat to Everton last weekend, Chelsea have been called into taking action following a torrid season that sees them worse off their 2022/23 season form.
With manager, Mauricio Pochettino calling on the club and owner, Todd Boehly to take decisive action in the January transfer window, reports state that the West-London side could be set for a rather ruthless path this winter.
In a strategic move, Chelsea Football Club is reportedly considering offloading at least three players, including Noni Madueke, who joined Stamford Bridge just a year ago.
ESPN reports suggest that Madueke, who has found limited playing time under Pochettino this season, might be among the players considered for departure. A potential loan move could also be on the cards if a suitable offer materializes.
Additionally, two other players speculated to depart Chelsea are Trevoh Chalobah and Ian Maatsen. Chalobah has attracted interest from Bayern Munich, Roma, and Crystal Palace, while Maatsen has reportedly emerged as a target for Borussia Dortmund.
The decision to sell off 3 players at Stamford Bridge may not end there with the Blues, who currently sit on the hinges with Financial Fair Play regulations after spending a hefty sum in the last 2 transfer windows.
The West-London side may need to sell more players if they hope to bring in new signings.
