Chelsea reveals stance on Pochettino sack

Contrary to how Chelsea fans may have envisioned the season going, it appears headed in the same direction as their 2022/23 form where the Blues ended in 12th place, far off from the European spot and with zero silverware.
Of course, there stands more games to change that notion but the narrative gearing into the thoughts of most Chelsea fans is whether their manager, Mauricio Pochettino remains the best man for the job.
In the face of mounting pressure on Mauricio Pochettino, due to the team’s lackluster performance this season, the club has clarified its stance on his position, and for all reasons, it may not be what the fans want to hear.
Following a less-than-impressive display, particularly highlighted by a 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg tie, Pochettino has found himself under scrutiny.
Currently occupying the 10th position on the Premier League table after 20 games, concerns have been raised about the team’s overall performance.
Despite these challenges, reports from The Telegraph suggest that, for now, Mauricio Pochettino’s job as the head coach at Stamford Bridge remains secure. The club has affirmed that his position is not in jeopardy, with the condition that Chelsea maintains a ‘realistic chance’ of qualifying for European competitions.
