Celebration as Microsoft hires Nigerian teenage programmer as intern

A young Nigerian has taken to social media to celebrate on his new feat of getting hired at one of the world giant tech companies, Microsoft.

A Nigerian teenage programmer identified as Ifeoluwa Kolopin took to the bluebird app to celebrate after landing an internship gig at Microsoft.

Ifeoluwa revealed that he had been selected as an intern to work on Software Engineering as well as Project Management tasks.

The young lad shared the good news as he posted a photo of himself on his first day at the Microsoft HQ in Washington, United States.

According to him, he will be working there for the next 12 weeks.

He tweeted; ”Day 1 as a Microsoft Intern

Will spend the next few months doing both SWE & PM tasks, and learning as much as I can.🙏🏾❤️

Posting this on LinkedIn also because why not?”

In an added tweet, the Software Engineer wrote;

”~How can I do both SWE & PM tasks?

I’m doing an Explore internship which allows me to do Software Engineering and Product Management tasks by work on a project with a team/manager for 12-weeks.”
