Casemiro allegedly regretting Man United move

Manchester United a dreaded destination for players? Reports seem to suggest this as former Real Madrid midfielder and Brazil star, Carlos Henrique Casemiro allegedly now regrets his move to Old Trafford.

According to reports from Nacional, it is believed the Manchester United hierarchy are not happy with his performances on the pitch lately, with the club reported to be eyeing a replacement already.

Despite a promising first season at Old Trafford, the Brazilian midfielder has struggled in the early stages of his second campaign in England. His inconsistent form has been a contributing factor to United’s lack of stability.

Casemiro’s troubles became particularly evident when he was shown a red card during United’s Champions League match against Galatasaray and was substituted at halftime during the game against Brentford just before the international break.

His struggles continued with the Brazilian national team, where he was substituted after sustaining an injury during their 1-1 draw with Venezuela and then faced a 2-0 defeat against Uruguay in the following match.

Nacional also reports that Casemiro now laments leaving Real Madrid to join a team that has been both unstable on and off the pitch, achieving only a Carabao Cup victory during his time at the club.

Backing the reports of Manchester United in for a replacement, Catalan media reports state that the club are eyeing a move for £61 million Benfica midfielder, Joao Neves.

The 19-year-old midfielder made seventeen appearances in Benfica’s title-winning campaign last season
