Carlo Ancelotti speaks on getting sacked

Following the weekend defeat to city rivals, Atletico Madrid in the Madrid derby, the narratives have started raining on Carlo Ancelotti and his long term future at Real Madrid.

The La Liga giants suffered their first defeat of the season in the Sunday clash versus Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid side who netted 3 times past Chelsea on-loan goalkeeper, Kepa Arizabalaga, with the Los Blancos only able to net once for a 3-1 defeat on the weekend.

Despite insisting on his commitment to the club, the media has been rife on reports that Real Madrid are looking to move on from Carlo Ancelotti.

The Los Blancos have secured 5 wins from a possible 6 in the La Liga this season, with the Madrid side able to scrap out wins from the previous games via a lone goal difference inspired by summer signing, Jude Bellingham.

Speaking on his future and the possibility of getting the sack, the former Everton boss said;

“Everyone knows I’m happy here. But this is not an important matter now. We will talk in the future, there’s time.”

The Italian also commented on the rumored links between former Real Madrid player, Xabi Alonso and the Real Madrid managerial position. Ancelotti said;

“I have coached Xabi, he’s doing a great job at Bayer. He understands the game well, that’s why he’s very good coach

“I wish Xabi Alonso, Raul, Alvaro Arbeloa to become Real Madrid’s manager one day. I love all of them,”
