Call for Proposals: Voice’s Mali Empowerment Grants

Voice is accepting proposals from informal groups or small organizations for its Empowerment Grants to raise awareness, promote transformational leadership, build self-confidence and fight stigma against the most marginalized and discriminated groups.
Voice Mali encourages for this Call for Proposals that address the dual vulnerabilities i.e. highlight the double or more issues that affect girls and / or older women.
The Empowerment grant is better suited to the target groups themselves and / or organizations that strongly involve the target group by giving it transformational leadership, as they expect a secure environment where the target group can express themselves with complete peace of mind.
Grant Information
The amounts of the grant for empowerment range from 5,000 Euro up to 25,000 Euro and this type of grant is open on a continuous basis at the national level.
Duration
Empowerment grants are small grants with an implementation period of between 12 months and a maximum of 24 months.
Topics
Voice financed projects must have an impact on one or more of the following topics:
- Improved access to (productive) resources (finance, water and land) and employment.
- Improved access to social services, health and education in particular.
- Space for citizen and inclusive participation.
Target Groups
- Vulnerable and age-sensitive groups, including young people and the elderly
- Women at risk of exploitation, abuse and / or violence
