Burna Boy used strategy to win Grammy Award – Broadcaster, Adesope Olajide spills

UK-based Nigerian broadcaster, Adesope Olajide has claimed that Burna Boy used a special strategy to win a Grammy Award.

Just after Burna Boy clinched his first Grammys last year, 2021 with his Twice As Tall album, which was his second Grammy nomination, presenter, Adesope Olajide stated that the singer used a special strategy he learnt from Angelique Kidjo to take home the awards.

Speaking in a recent interview with Jahbless about Burna Boy’s musical dexterity, Olajide explained how the music star applied the knowledge he gained from Angelique Kidjo who coached him after he lost out on winning the award in 2020.

The podcaster said that Burna deserved the win a Grammy for ‘African Giant’ but after he lost, he went to the drawing board and spoke to legends like P Diddy, Naughty By who had won awards in the year that he did not win.
