Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, has been accused of snubbing a Nigerian journalist at the recently held Met Gala event.

According to reports, the journalist, Kachi, from Arise TV news, claimed that Burna Boy ignored her at the event, which she perceived as an insult to both herself and Nigeria.

Burna Boy made his debut appearance at the Met Gala on Monday, May 1, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Following the event, Kachi accused Burna Boy of snubbing her, and a video of the moment in question has been circulating on social media.

However, the video appears to tell a different story, as Burna Boy can be seen walking up the stairs in his Burberry outfit when Kachi starts calling his attention.

He stopped to grant an interview to another journalist and politely told Kachi that he needed to leave despite her repeated requests for an interview.

Kachi expressed her disappointment with Burna Boy’s alleged behavior, stating that she was livid and almost broke down in tears at the media stand.

She claimed that she felt embarrassed for calling him “Odogwu” and getting snubbed.

Burna Boy is yet to respond to the allegations, but the incident has generated mixed reactions from fans and followers on social media..
