The club in a tweet on Tuesday listed the 18-year-old alongside captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and goalkeeper Bern Leno for the season’s best player gong.
“Our final contender is Bukayo Saka, who has had a stunning breakthrough campaign and has underlined his versatility by playing in a variety of different positions while scoring four times and claiming 12 assists,” Arsenal wrote on their website.
Aubameyang, who was named the club’s captain last November after Granit Xhaka was stripped of the armband, scored 27 goals in all competition to emerge the Gunners’ highest goal scorer.
Leno kept seven clean sheets for the Gunners before going injured in an EPL tie against Brighton in June. Saka recently signed a long-term contract extension with the Gunners.
Bukayo Saka is an English professional footballer who mainly plays as a winger or left back for Premier League club Arsenal. Saka was born in Ealing, Greater London, and attended Greenford High School.[3] He started his career with Arsenal’s Hale End academy.
