Most people will give excuses like; “I’m a student, I don’t have the time to start a business” Well, that’s BS. It’s not about not having time, it’s about creating time.

As a student, visit your schedule and find out when you’re most likely to be free. If there’s none, please drop whatever activity that’s taking you nowhere. You can start working on your dream business from 6pm to 10pm daily. In this age of technology, you can do anything and at any given time.

As an employee, make out time to for your side business. It could be when you’re done with work. Doing this will give you much confidence to focus fully when the time is right.

3. Utilize the weekend

A dreamer who’s passionate to seeing his dream come true won’t waste his weekend playing games or boozing with friends in a bar.

Weekends are actually the perfect time to work on your business empire. It’s the time you have to give your business all the attention that it deserves.

This stage of your life is not meant for watching TV, playing games or wasting time with friends. This is a time where you focus more on the future and what it holds for you. It’s not easy to stay alone all day working on your dream, but the result will be worth it.

When I started my first business, a perfume business to be precise, I think I became the best loner in the world. I was always alone, working and fighting for what I believe in.

My friends thought that I was wasting my time. But today, the rewards are clear even to the blind. Sometimes we have to suffer in other to enjoy later.

4. Venture Fully

There will come a time when you will feel that you are now ready to venture fully. That’s when your side hustle has started breeding forth a little money. The reason why you began part-time was to boost your confidence. If after that and you’re still hesitating, then you need to deal with self-doubt.

Taking a bold step might be hard because it’s like walking to uncertainty, into something that has no guarantee yet. It is actually a risk, a risk worth taking. As long as you didn’t delve in blindly, you’ll be fine.

Building a successful business empire isn’t for the faint-hearted, it’s for those who possess the heart of a lion. No wonder the rich among us are few cause only few are willing to pay the price.
