Buhari promises tough response to killers
President Muhammadu Buhari has furiously frowned at the killing of the South-East and other parts of the country.
Buhari condemned the various killings via a post on his verified Twitter handle. He promised killers the toughest security response.
Gunmen in Anambra have reported killed seven people, attacked police station and razed vehicles.
They also allegedly murdered an innocent mother along with her four children at Isulo, Orumba North local government area of the state.
Prior to these, a lawmaker, Hon Okechukwu Okoye had been kidnapped and beheaded. by unidentified gunmen.
President Buhari said, “I strongly condemn the wild, barbarous and wanton killings of innocent people in the South-East, as well as in other parts of Nigeria.
“The perpetrators of these deeply distressing attacks should expect the toughest possible response from the security forces.”
