“Brighter Days in 2025” — APC promises
Nigerians continue to grapple with economic turbulence this festive season, forcing the ruling party of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to urge citizens to remain optimistic of a turnaround in 2025.
In a Christmas message delivered in Lokoja, Kogi State capital, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Durosinmi Meseko, emphasized that President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms are sowing the seeds for a more prosperous Nigeria.
“This Christmas, let us embrace the spirit of hope and renewal,” Meseko said. “The policies introduced by President Tinubu are building a foundation for a brighter future, and Nigerians will see tangible improvements by 2025.”

The APC insists that the current hardships are growing pains necessary for long-term economic stability, urging citizens to trust the government’s roadmap. Meseko pointed to various reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies and foreign exchange market liberalization, as steps that will eventually stabilize the economy and elevate living standards.
Critics, however, remain skeptical, arguing that Nigerians need immediate relief from skyrocketing inflation, unemployment, and currency devaluation. Nonetheless, Meseko urged Nigerians to keep faith in the APC administration’s capacity to deliver lasting solutions.
“By addressing the challenges head-on, the APC is committed to ensuring a prosperous future for every Nigerian,” he added.
