There is an ongoing terrorist attack in a hotel complex in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, TOPNAIJA.NG can confirm.

BBC reports that four armed men entered the complex which houses a hotel in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi.
There was a huge bomb blast as well as several reports of gunfire.

There are currently people trapped in the building, while the law enforcement on ground at the venue attempt to evacuate some civilians and regain control of the hotel complex.

Somali armed group, Al-Shabab, has claimed responsibility for the Nairobi attack.

Several people trapped in the building have been sharing tweets on social media, with many asking for prayers and assistance.
