Breaking: Panic as two get killed in shootout

Two persons were killed during a shootout that had happened between the police and gunmen on Monday night at Enugu state.

The gunmen had  attacked a Police checkpoint along the Presco junction axis of the Enugu-Abakaliki express road when the incident had happened.

It had occurred around 8 pm and this had motorists and  commuters trying to find safety during the gun battle.

According to an eyewitness,the  gunmen who had carried out the shootings on a motorcycle attacked the police officers on their duty post at the junction.

After the shootings had died down, eyewitnesses discovered that one of the policemen and one of the gunmen had been killed.
