BREAKING: Ogun INEC REC, Olaniyi Ijalaye, slumps in Abuja

Niyi Ijalaye, Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for Ogun State has reportedly slumped in Abuja.

According to The Punch, Ijalaye allegedly collapsed on Monday evening shortly after attending a meeting at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Ijalaye appeared in good spirits throughout the meeting before returning to his hotel room at the Bon Octagon Hotel in the Federal Capital Territory, where he suddenly collapsed.

Ijalaye’s condition remained uncertain at the time of filing this report.
