BREAKING: Nigeria’s Hilda Baci Dethroned as GWR Confirms New Cooking Marathon Record Holder
Alan Fisher, an Irish chef, has been named the new holder of the longest cooking marathon (individual) record by Guinness World Records.
The declaration comes 180 days after Hilda Baci of Nigeria established the record for the longest cooking marathon by one person after her May 11 cook-a-thon lasted 93 hours and 11 minutes.

Guinness World Records reported on their official website on November 7 that Fisher cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes to break Hilda’s record.
Fisher, the owner and chef of a Japanese restaurant, also broke Wendy Sandner’s record for the longest baking marathon (individual) with a duration of 31 hours and 16 minutes.
