BREAKING: Makinde plans 500 million support for new Air Force Base

The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has promised to donate 500 million naira to establish a permanent site for the Nigerian Air Force at Ajia, Ibadan.

 

Makinde made the promise on Thursday, March 31, during his reception of the Nigerian Air Force Chief of staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Oladayo Amao (DFS), at the Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.

 

He then visited the proposed site for the Base officially, along with other top government officials.

 

He continued saying, “We want one of the best Air Force bases in the country to be located here in Ibadan, and our government will do everything possible to achieve that. On behalf of the government of Oyo State, I make a pledge that we, as a state, will contribute N500m.”
