BREAKING: Lagos loses 56-year-old man to Coronavirus

A 56-year-old man has died from Coronavirus related complications in Lagos State, the state Commissioner of health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has announced via his official Twitter handle.

The victim recently returned from the United States. He died from health complications compounded by the virus.

This raises the state’s death toll to 6, with 61 recovered cases.

*️⃣Total number of #COVID19 patients that have recovered and discharged are now 61.
*️⃣A 56 year old Nigerian??; male who recently returned from the United States has died of #COVID19 related complication. This brings the total number of #COVID19 related deaths in Lagos to 6.
