Passionate members of the Miyetti Allah cattle rearers association have purchased the 2023 presidential form for former President Goodluck Jonathan, TopNaija can confirm.

The group purchased the form for the ex-president earlier today Monday, May 9, 2022.

Recall that Jonathan, while addressing some youths who stormed his house a few weeks ago, urging him to join the presidential race, said he was not ready.

At the moment, it is unclear if Jonathan would accept the form to join the race.

A spokesman for the group, Mayor Samuel, who is also the convener of the Youth Compatriots of Nigeria said, “We were deceived and brainwashed by those who claimed they could do it in 2015.

“Now, we know better, under Jonathan the minimum wage could buy one or two bags of rice. What do we have today? We are begging President Jonathan to forgive us, we have realized our mistakes, we want him back to complete what he started.

Jonathan was elected President of Nigeria in the 2011 general election, but lost to Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.

Also, earlier today, the minister of State Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva, and Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade equally purchased their nomination forms in Abuja.
