“Bournemouth should pray I don’t play” — Szoboszlai

Liverpool star, Dominik Szoboszlai has a word for Bournemouth, and its defender, Milos Kerkez, and it is, ‘Pray I don’t play’.
Liverpool midfielder, Dominik Szoboszlai might end his career being one of the Kop’s favorite players, if not for his skills on the pitch, perhaps his motivational words off it.
Ahead of the Carabao Cup clash at Anfield on Wednesday, the Hungarian had some words to say about Liverpool’s season so far.
Asked if the ideal goal is to challenge Manchester City for the top spot this year, the former RB Leipzig man was full of confidence stating to the media;
“I don’t say it out of arrogance, but yes,”
Dominik Szoboszlai went on to explain his reasoning by adding;
“This may sound strange at the end of October, but due to the history of the club, there is no other answer. Liverpool go all season wanting to win the Premier League.
“Of course, this doesn’t always work out, sometimes the club was one point behind City, other times they managed to finish in the lead. We seem to be better now than we were last season, so what else can we aim for but the gold medal?”
The Liverpool no. 8 who has been very vocal about his aspirations with the Merseyside club, insists he is looking forward to winning the lot with Liverpool.
Heading into the Carabao Cup clash versus AFC Bournemouth, Szoboszlai left a few words for Bournemouth defender, Milos Kerkez;
“To pray that I don’t play.”
Dominik Szoboszlai however will be praying his team too don’t get eliminated from the competition by the Cherries at Anfield.
