“Borussia Dortmund to be crowned champions” — Rivaldo

Brazilian football legend, Rivaldo has thrown his support behind Borussia Dortmund to emerge victorious against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final.

The much-anticipated clash is set to take place on Saturday evening at Wembley Stadium in London. Rivaldo, speaking to Betfair, expressed his confidence in the German Bundesliga club’s ability to overcome the reigning LaLiga champions.

Dortmund and Real Madrid secured their spots in the final by defeating Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, respectively, in the semi-finals.

“A few weeks ago, I predicted it would be Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund in the final, so I got that right,” Rivaldo stated. “However, I also said Borussia would be the champions. While Madrid are undoubtedly the favourites, Borussia come into this match with immense belief.”

Rivaldo highlighted Dortmund’s impressive performances in the competition, particularly their victories over PSG in both legs of the semi-finals. “They know how to navigate this tournament and handle high-pressure games. We saw their strength and skill in the matches against PSG.”

Despite acknowledging Real Madrid’s favoured status, Rivaldo remains steadfast in his prediction. “Yes, Real Madrid are the favourites, but my bet is still on Borussia Dortmund to be crowned champions,” he concluded.
