A devastating fire has engulfed the luxurious Lekki mansion of Nigerian singer Esegine Allen, widely known by his stage name Orezi, leaving the artist shattered by the tragic incident.

Orezi took to his Instagram page on Tuesday night to share the distressing news, expressing his disbelief and anguish over the loss caused by the fire.

In his social media post, the singer revealed that he was attending a meeting when he received an alert from his neighbor, controversial crossdresser Bobrisky, notifying him about the fire outbreak.

Recalling the distressing moments, Orezi stated,

“Last night was really hectic, still trying to figure out and wrap my head around all that happened. I am sitting here asking myself why me. God is indeed merciful, can’t thank God enough. I was at a meeting in Lekki country last night around 11:48 pm when I got a call from my neighbor Bobrisky that my house is on fire. I initially thought this was a joke. I was like, what kind of joke is Bob pulling on me? Immediately, I raced down to my house, what I saw broke me.”

The singer expressed profound shock and disbelief at the sight of the damage caused by the fire, indicating the depth of the devastation caused to his residence.

Orezi’s mansion, located in the affluent Lekki area, fell victim to the blaze, prompting an immediate response from the artist upon receiving the alarming call from his neighbor. The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire have yet to be fully ascertained.
