Blind woman gives birth to twins 4 months after daughter went missing

A visually impaired lady, identified as Agness Forte, was said to have welcomed a set of twins, months after her one-year-old daughter, Excel went missing.

TopNaija reports that the mother, Agnes delivered the bouncing babies at a hospital in Lagos last week.

However, the little girl was declared missing in Akowonjo, Alimosho Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that Excel was in the company of her 13-year-old step-sister named Joy when she was last seen.

According to Agnes, her two daughters, Joy and Excel were both playing in the corridor of their apartment, sadly moments later, she could no longer hear their voices. Attempts to locate their whereabouts since then had been futile.

Narrating her ordeal to media outlet, The Punch on Saturday, the new mother appreciated the Almighty God for the safe delivery, while hoping that her missing daughter would return.

The 32-year-old woman, however, lamented over her inability to offset the bills accrued after delivery, adding that she was still being delayed in the hospital.

Agnes said; “I thank God for the safe delivery and the blessings of a set of twins. I am also hopeful that my missing daughter will be found.”

“I have not been able to settle my hospital bills. That is why I have been here since Wednesday. My husband has been trying but he is yet to raise the money. The hospital management told us to get the money or they will ask us to sleep on the floor due to bed space”.
