Bisi Kazeem appointed as FRSC Deputy Corps Marshal S/West
In an official announcement, Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has given his approval for the promotion of Assistant Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem to the position of Deputy Corps Marshal within the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
Deputy Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem has been designated to represent the southwest geopolitical zone of Nigeria.
The information was disclosed through a statement issued by Charles Edem, the Corps Commander and Deputy Corps Public Education Officer at the Federal Road Safety Corps.
Deputy Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem is an accomplished road safety administrator with a wealth of experience, having served in numerous authoritative positions and completed numerous training programs, both domestically and internationally.
His academic background includes a Master of Science in Transport Studies from the Department of Geography and Regional Planning at Ogun State University in 1996, as well as a Master of Arts in Peace and Security Studies from the University of Ilorin in 2015.
Kazeem is a member of several professional organizations, including the Nigerian Institute of Management Chartered (from 2022), the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (from 2022), the International Association of Chiefs of Police in the United States (since 2019), and he is also an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (since 2018).
The Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu, expressed his satisfaction with the transparent and objective nature of the appointment process.
He called upon the newly appointed Deputy Corps Marshal to exhibit enhanced dedication and commitment to furthering the core mission of the FRSC, which is the prevention of road traffic accidents and the establishment of a safer motoring environment in Nigeria.
