The Wait is Over: Big Brother Naija season 9 to premiere in July

The 2024 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show is set for a new season beginning from the month of July, Topnaija.ng reports.

According to a teaser post on the Big Brother Naija official X account on Sunday, fans encouraged to mark their calendars and prepare for BBNaija Season 9 in July, though the exact date remains undisclosed

This Nigeria’s top youth website reports that this years’ BBNaija announcement was accompanied by a caption that reads, “What’s better than One? Mark your calendars!”

As sighted in the post on social media, thr BBNaija season 9 sponsors include, Guinness Nigeria (@GuinnessNGR,) SmirnoffNG (@SmirnoffNg) amongst others.

Popularly called BBNaija, the show remains one of the longest-running on Nigerian television.

The All-Stars season, which was one of the biggest and most-watched seasons of the reality show, saw guests from previous seasons return to the Big Brother House to compete for the prize money.

An evictee from the 2022 season, Ilebaye Odiniya, won the prize money in the All-Stars season.
