- Big Brother Naija, formerly known part of Big Brother Africa, is a Nigerian reality Television show, where housemates are voted, in which 12 to 21 housemates live in an isolated house and compete for an ultimate price which is worth 60,000,000 (sixty million naira) equivalent to $171,428.57, and other material gifts such as cars and endorsement deals. Housemates are voted and those with the lowest votes are evicted from the show. There are currently 5 seasons held in the past. The show is broadcasted on DSTV on the Big Brother Naija channel.
The season one of the show was won by Katung Aduwak and also featured Ebuka who is one of the most popular housemate and currently the host of the reality show.
The second season of the Big Brother Nigeria (entitled Big Brother Naija) premiered 11 years after the first season which Efe Ejeba with the popular slogan “Based on Logistics” emerged winner in 2017.
Miracle Igbokwe from Imo State emerged winner of the season 3 in 2018. While Mercy Eke (Lambo) emerged winner of the fourth edition (season 4) held in 2019.
Laycon emerged winner of the season 5 edition of the Big Brother Naija Lock Down edition held between July and October 2020. He was rewarded with prizes worth 80 million naira.

BBNaija Season 6 Audition Form for DSTV and GOTV Subscribers (2021);
DSTV has decided to reward its active subscribers who are interested in auditioning for the season 6 of the Big Brother Naija reality show.
To be among the first applicants to audition for the season 6 of the Big Brother Naija reality show, you must be an active DSTV or GOTV subscriber.
How to Apply for BBNaija Season 6 (2021)
If you are an active subscriber, follow the steps below to qualify and apply for the season 6 audition.
- You must pay or renew your DSTV or GOTV subscription in any of the following bouquets between 24th to 31st March, 2021. The packages include DSTV premium, DSTV compact plus, DSTV compact, DSTV confam, DSTV yanga or GOTV max or jolli.
- Send an email to [email protected] with your smart card or IUC number to receive your unique website link to complete registration.
- Your audition will include a 2-minutes video telling Big Brother why you deserve to be a housemate.
- You must be 21 years or older by June, 2021 with a valid identity document. NIMC card, passport, voters card or driver’s license will be accepted.

HOW TO WATCH BIG BROTHER NAIJA;
The Big Brother Naija reality show is aired on DSTV on DSTV Family bouquet at the sum of 4000 naira. You can also watch it on GOTV plus bouquet at 1900 naira only.
