This is to allow a more inclusive participation for fans outside Nigeria.

Meanwhile, some groups are calling on the Federal Government to ban smoking in the Big Brother house.

The Corporate Accountability and Public Participation Africa (CAPPA) and the Nigeria Tobacco Control Alliance (NTCA) made the appeal on Friday in a petition to the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

They demanded the prohibition of smoking citing health complications and Covid-19.

‘‘It is even worse at a period the country is battling with COVID -19 pandemic since it has been established that smokers have greater possibility of developing complications or even death if they contract the coronavirus”, the petition read.

While commending the NBC for banning nudity on the reality show, it urged the agency to extend its radar to smoking which according to them has been glorified on the show.
