What Cristiano Ronaldo Is Really Like In The Dressing Room—Bernardo Silva

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has resigned to losing Bernardo Silva to Barcelona this summer transfer window if the player desperately wants to leave.

The former Barcelona coach revealed that it has come to a point where he has no control over the player’s happiness, revealing the Portuguese seems to like his former club a lot.

The Catalan side have every interest towards bringing Bernardo Silva to the Camp Nou though stand to be halted by financial restrictions and also La Liga regulations that has prevented them from submitting an official bid.

But that hasn’t stopped Barcelona current manager, Xavi Hernandez from speaking of the player when the subject is brought to him.

“Who doesn’t like Bernardo Silva? And De Bruyne or Haaland. Bernardo is key player for City, who makes a difference. I like him, because there are very few like him…but that depends on Manchester City,” he said.

Manchester City, according to reports, are ready to only sell the player for a fee of €90m (£76m).

Silva recently featured in the friendly between City and Barcelona at Camp Nou on Wednesday evening that ended in a 3-3 stalemate.

After the match, Guardiola responded to questions on the midfielder’s future;

“I don’t want anyone to be unhappy.” He said.

“As a player and as a person, he is one of the best I have ever had. In any competition, he is the best player.

“If an offer arrives, there are seven days left and if Bernardo leaves we would have to go to the market and it’s not easy.

“Having said that, Bernardo likes Barcelona a lot.”
